What is KöR Teeth Whitening?
KöR is an innovative deep-whitening system. Looking for a solution that tackles more than just surface stains? KöR’s unique Tri-Barrel Hydremide Peroxide gel dissolves pigments within both enamel and dentin, delivering thorough whitening from the inside out. Thanks to specialized KöR-Seal™ trays, part of the treatment can be done at home, with a deep-whitening effect lasting up to six hours.
Call us and we’ll recommend the KöR program that’s right for you—Home, Max, Ultra, or Ultra-T. Even stubborn tetracycline stains, fluorosis, and pronounced age-related discoloration can be dramatically improved with minimal to no sensitivity during treatment. For challenging cases, we also offer veneers alongside KӦR Whitening to address dental fluorosis or tetracycline discoloration.

KöR Whitening removes tough stains that may remain after ordinary cleanings or standard whitening procedures. Take a look at our real before-and-after photos of KöR patients—this treatment has transformed heavily tetracycline-stained teeth into a stunning white smile.
Before KöR Whitening
Patients often arrive with severely discolored teeth (brown or gray patches). In many cases, it’s due to fluorosis, which can be very challenging to treat by conventional means.
KöR Whitening
Those same patients now enjoy a dramatically brighter smile, with significantly reduced tetracycline stains. The transformation is both safe and comfortable—no pain, just a beautifully renewed look.

How KöR Whitening Works
- Consultation & Custom Impressions
Your dentist will assess your teeth and take impressions for specialized KӦR-Seal™ trays. These trays fit snugly, preventing saliva from mixing with the whitening gel (saliva quickly deactivates most whitening solutions).
- At-Home Phase
You’ll fill the trays with whitening gel and wear them at night (or as directed) for 2–4 weeks. Because the trays seal securely, the gel remains active for up to 6–10 hours, penetrating deep into the enamel and dentin. A specialized desensitizer helps prevent tooth sensitivity.
- Final In-Office Session
For the finishing touch, a high-concentration (34%) peroxide gel is applied in the office—no lights or lasers needed. This “super-charge” step can achieve dramatic whitening results, often up to 16 shades or more.
- Maintenance
After treatment, simply maintain good oral hygiene. If you ever notice the color fading, just wear the trays for a few nights to quickly restore your brighter smile.
Safe, Comfortable & Effective – Guaranteed!
Many patients worry about sensitivity or gum irritation, but KöR delivers minimal (often zero) discomfort. It won’t harm your enamel—this system has been clinically tested for decades and used on millions of smiles. If you’re hesitant about whitening due to sensitivity issues, come in for a free consultation. We’ll show you how KöR can safely and effectively brighten your teeth.
Advantages of KöR Whitening
FAQ
Yes. The whitening gel contains non-acidic peroxide and won’t damage your enamel or gums if you follow your dentist’s instructions.
A very long time—after the initial course, it’s enough to use a maintenance gel at home to keep your teeth bright.
Crowns or veneers do not change color. Only natural enamel responds to the whitening gel. If your restorations become noticeable against your newly whitened teeth, you can replace them to match the new shade.
KöR is suitable for most age groups once permanent teeth have fully developed (around age 14). Older patients also see excellent results, provided their teeth are healthy.
We recommend avoiding coffee and colored foods for the first 1–2 days. In the long run, any minor staining is easily resolved with the maintenance trays.
It’s contraindicated for patients with cavities or gum inflammation—those issues need to be addressed before whitening. It’s also best to avoid whitening during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Possible side effects include brief sensitivity or gum irritation, which typically subside quickly.
